I’m so excited to introduce CREATE, an amazing new Gel Polish which has been lovingly created by the Queens of Glitter: Lecenté, with the help of a chemist. It was three years in the making and boy was it worth the wait!
This fabulous product launched in September 2019 at the Olympia Beauty Show, with a bang! I was there and the buzz was just incredible.
The first collection; Look for Rainbows included 6 stunning holographic rainbow effect shades totally true to Lecenté’s well deserved reputation as THE place to buy your sparkly nail art.
Also launched to complete the set; a strengthening base coat, a super shiny, long lasting no wipe top coat, and the most pigmented Black and white gels that cover easily in just one coat – they certainly live up to their names Black Magic and White Magic. All of these are HEMA free.
As a responsible brand Lecenté also released a professional UV LED lamp designed for the system to ensure a perfect and speedy cure, 60 seconds for the rainbows and just 30 seconds for everything else.
This is a soak off gel system offering nail strengthening properties, high quality pigments and a long lasting spectacularly shiny finish.
The Look for Rainbows collection does include a touch of HEMA but it’s well below the recommended limits in the UK. These rainbow gels are so versatile, they work best when applied in two coats over colour to give a gorgeous deep dazzling holographic effect, and the tone of colour changes slightly when applied over dark and light colours and you can even ombré two or more of them.
The Rainbow colours in the first Collection Look for Rainbows are:
Cloud 9 – a pretty dusky pink base with rainbow holo particles.
Indian Summer – a great gold base with the added rainbow holo particles that dazzle in the sunshine.
Over the Rainbow – a vivid almost neon pink with rainbow holo particles.
Rain on my parade – beautiful bright ocean blue with the added depth of those fabulous rainbow holo particles
Steal your thunder – a true silver rainbow holo that has the wow factor.
Twilight Zone – a rich royal purple shot through with the rainbow holo particles that give it almost a chameleon effect in different lights – just wow!
All of these gels can be mixed together to create unique shades and effects too, so the possibilities are endless.
As if this wasn’t enough excitement for us nail tech’s, Lecenté only went and did it again in November by adding The London Edit collection of colours to the range.
Eight, yes eight fabulously pigmented, one coat, HEMA free colours named after some of London’s most Iconic locations to highlight CREATE’s British origins. Here they are:
Bakerloo – a sophisticated warm beige nude, totally on trend this season.
Carnaby – this seasons bright red, a beautiful classic to suit most skin tones.
Covent Garden – a beautiful light grey that will make a gorgeous base for nail art as well as a statement in a full set.
Knightsbridge – a rich and classy maroon, this colour is just stunning for autumn/winter it’s warmth will be a winner with clients.
Notting Hill – a cooler nude with latte tones, this is a I brilliant nude which will complement different skin tones.
Oxford Circus – this stunning deep slate grey is a hidden gem, it works with any colour in the CREATE range and is amazing on its own.
Portobello – a creamy baby pink that’s going to be a favourite with your pink girls, think strawberry ice cream.
Soho – an inky blue black, this is my favourite shade in this collection, it’s just mind blowing when it catches the light.
In summary, this is a beautifully put together professional product that’s been designed with the nail technician in mind, it’s time saving application (it really is great in just one coat!) and longevity are going to be a hit with your clients. It’s 20 minute soak off may be slightly longer than other systems, but I think as a mobile technician, I’ll aim to wrap up the soak off foils before I set up and get my clients to use the time to get comfortable and pick their next colours.
