:YOURS Cosmetics are a fantastic nail art supplies company that specialises in producing my absolute favourite, beautiful and simple to use Stamping plates, Silicone Stampers and now especially designed Stamping polishes. The quality of these products is truly amazing.
:YOURS are based in The Netherlands and many of their wonderful stamping plates are made in collaboration with some of the best Nail Artists in the world.
Stamping plates for nail artists designed by nail artists, great right?
Add to this a really well designed stamper – The Halo stamper; a large silicone stamper that is completely clear so you can see what you’re doing, and the amazing highly pigmented polishes and you can’t go wrong. With a little practice literally anyone can create beautiful nail art even if you’re not particularly artistic!
:YOURS also have hundreds of easy to follow, step by step videos on their YouTube channel (links on their website) so even if you’re a complete novice you can learn from the experts and be offering this fabulous “add on” service to your customers in no time.
I’ve found this to be a win, win as my customers are blown away by the intricacy of the designs and are happy to pay a bit extra for it too!
Stamping is particularly great at this time of year as even the most conservative clients are likely to want something a tad special for the festive season. Combining stamping with glitter or pigments can add a whole other dimension to a set of nails and takes very little time.
For a basic stamping application on to gel polish you would PEP the nails as per your brands guidelines, apply base and colour coat/s then apply the stamped design and finish with top coat. It’s so much fun seeing the look on a clients face the first time they have a stamped design!
